Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Skin Hub does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or other contact details. The skins you save and create stay on your device. We collect a limited amount of usage and device data to run the App, keep it stable, and show ads to free users.

2. Information We Collect

• Usage Data: how you use the App, such as screens you view, skins you open, save, or export, searches you run, and buttons you tap.
• Device Information: device model, OS version, app version, language, and an app-generated device identifier.
• Crash & Performance Data: error reports and diagnostics when the App crashes or something goes wrong.
• Purchase Data: when you subscribe, the App sends the App Store transaction ID and the device identifier to our server so we can check your subscription with Apple. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see or store your payment card information.
• Advertising Identifier: only if you allow tracking when the App asks (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Ad Attribution: if you installed the App from an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple tells us which campaign it came from. This does not identify you personally.

3. Data That Stays on Your Device

• Skins you save, skins you unlock, and skins you make with Remix or Edit are stored only on your device. We do not upload your creations.
• If you save a skin to Photos, the App asks for permission to add photos. It never reads your photo library.
• If you look up a player by name, the App sends that name directly to Mojang's official Minecraft service to fetch the player's skin.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App's features, including skin search and holiday packs.
• To verify your subscription and restore purchases.
• To fix crashes and improve the App.
• To show ads to free users and measure how well they work.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Apple (App Store purchases, Search Ads attribution)
• Google AdMob (ads for free users). See how Google uses data.
• Sentry (crash reporting)
• PostHog (product analytics, hosted on our own servers)
• Mojang / Microsoft (player skin lookup)

6. Children's Privacy

Skin Hub is made for Minecraft players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information such as names or contact details from children under 13, and the App does not ask for any. Ads in the App are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention & Security

We keep usage and crash data only as long as needed for the purposes above. We use industry-standard measures to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, delete, or limit the processing of your personal data. Deleting the App removes all data stored on your device. To make a request about data we hold, contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
