ModsKit app (listed on the App Store as Mods for Minecraft PE : Addons) · Effective date: October 2026

1. Summary

ModsKit does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or other contact details. Your favorites and the content you unlock stay on your device. We collect a limited amount of usage and device data to run the App, improve it, and show ads to free users.

2. Information We Collect

  • Usage Data: how you use the App, such as screens you view, Add-ons you open, download, or favorite, searches you run, your answers to the welcome questions, and buttons you tap.
  • Session Recordings: for a small share of sessions, the App records how its screens look while you use it, so we can find confusing parts and fix bugs. Anything you type into text fields is hidden in these recordings.
  • Device Information: device model, OS version, app version, language, and an app-generated device identifier.
  • Purchase Data: when you subscribe, the App sends the App Store transaction ID and the device identifier to our server so we can check your subscription with Apple. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see or store your payment card information.
  • Advertising Identifier: only if you allow tracking when the App asks (App Tracking Transparency). If you don't, ads are not personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Ad Attribution: if you installed the App from an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple tells us which campaign it came from. This does not identify you personally.

3. Data That Stays on Your Device

  • Your favorites and the Add-ons, Maps, and Texture Packs you unlock are stored only on your device.
  • When you install an Add-on, the App downloads the file and hands it to Minecraft through the iOS share sheet. The App does not read your Minecraft worlds or any other files on your device.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the App's features, including search, downloads, and recommendations.
  • To verify your subscription and restore purchases.
  • To fix bugs and improve the App.
  • To show ads to free users and measure how well they work.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Apple (App Store purchases, Search Ads attribution)
  • Google AdMob (ads for free users). See how Google uses data.
  • PostHog (product analytics and session recordings, hosted on our own servers)

6. Children's Privacy

ModsKit is made for Minecraft players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information such as names or contact details from children under 13, and the App does not ask for any. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention & Security

We keep usage data and session recordings only as long as needed for the purposes above. We use industry-standard measures to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, delete, or limit the processing of your personal data. Deleting the App removes all data stored on your device. To make a request about data we hold, contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
